CURRICULUM
As each person will express Kung Fu in their own way depending on body
type, personality etc so will each person focus on different aspects of
training. Although we don’t use belts or ranks, we do have a general
system of levels to assist in optimal growth.
The beginning stages of Gold Tiger Kung Fu are based on the Tiger Claw
component and Internal Kung Fu basics. Adjusting to the mental changes
of training Kung Fu, the student is gently guided to benefit in all
aspects of their lives. Within each level students learn: - a Form with the emphasis on applications rather than “performance”.
- Internal component.
- Target Points on the body relating to the core of the particular level and different strikes used for those points.
- Chin Na locks.
- Free Techniques. GTKF is a fluid, free moving system. These techniques relate to the core of the level and strictly practical.
